Earn by Linking to Posts

Now you can earn by linking to the posts of other bloggers!

Have you noticed that each post now has its own unique URL -- located at the bottom of each post above the comments?

The next time you are writing about a topic -- such as Sports Cars -- and find a great post (from another author) that's relevant to your topic -- such as Photos of Fast Cars -- why not link to that post from your post?

Then, when a reader is enjoying your post (let's call it Post A) and follows that link to the other post (Post B) -- YOU EARN!

Here's how it works:

As you know, you earn on FanBox based on the engagement level of your readers. In other words, the more time readers spend enjoying your posts, the more you earn.

When a reader spends time in your post (Post A), you earn 100% of what you would have earned for that time, of course. Then, if the reader clicks to visit Post B (which belongs to someone else) you earn 80% of the time the reader spends in Post B. The author of Post B earns 20% of the time the reader spends there.

(The author of Post B doesn't mind the smaller revenue share, because 1) she gets free fans, friends and followers that will likely bring her earnings in the future, and 2) On top of that, the 20% she earns is basically "free earnings" that she would likely not have received anyway.)

Therefore, it makes sense
