Life tends to get you down just about as much as it can bring you joy, and in many cases, like my own, my luck usually runs out before I can grasp the concept that I am actually happy. The following remarks, evidently made by very frustrated women, have been swarming the internet lately. They may be intended solely as jokes, but they also serve as an indication of our appalling performance as men. I urge my men folks to take them seriously and start doing something about their love lives before they end up having none. You cannot defend yourselves by arguing that the women who wrote them are too demanding. They are only asking for their basic rights: love, care, affection and compassion. You should be thankful to be blessed with such women as there are other women who are merely interested in material belongings, clothing, make up, perfume and jewelry.
