In Marriage, Make Love Not War!

In Marriage, Make Love Not War!

Life tends to get you down just about as much as it can bring you joy, and in many cases, like my own, my luck usually runs out before I can grasp the concept that I am actually happy. In my world fate likes to double the pain like coffee shots, and sprinkle some happiness when I'm just about to collapse.

Women are fabulous!

Women are fantastic!

I have recently come across this:

The sex addiction epidemic

Don't allow lust to ruin your love!

It wrecks marriages, destroys careers, and saps self-worth. Yet Americans are being diagnosed as sex addicts in record numbers. Inside an epidemic.

Valerie realized that sex was wrecking her life right around the time her second marriage disintegrated. At 30, and employed as a human-resources administrator in Phoenix, she had serially cheated on both her husbands—often with their subordinates and co-workers—logging anonymous hookups in fast-food-restaurant bathrooms, affairs with married men, and one-night stands too numerous to count. But Valerie couldn’t stop. Not even after one man’s wife aimed a shotgun at her head while catching them in flagrante delicto. Valerie called phone-sex chat lines and pored over online pornography, masturbating so compulsively that it wasn’t uncommon for her to choose her vibrator over going to work. She craved public exhibitionism, too, particularly at strip clubs, and even accepted money in exchange for sex—not out of financial necessity but for the illicit rush such acts gave her.

Men are like...

The following remarks, evidently made by very frustrated women, have been swarming the internet lately. They may be intended solely as jokes, but they also serve as an indication of our appalling performance as men. I urge my men folks to take them seriously and start doing something about their love lives before they end up having none. You cannot defend yourselves by arguing that the women who wrote them are too demanding. They are only asking for their basic rights: love, care, affection and compassion. You should be thankful to be blessed with such women as there are other women who are merely interested in material belongings, clothing, make up, perfume and jewelry.

Men are like. . . laxatives. . .
