Are Ifugaos Igorots? This has been a focus of discussion in some of the many organizations here in the cordillera region..with some ifugaos saying why not while some, strongly denying any affinity to said terminology..

As an Ifugao born and raised in the Cordillera Mountains and schooled at the same time in the area, i have always accepted with pride and respect my being an igorot in the same note that I have accepted my being a Filipino.
