Watching Life From My Window

I wrote this story one night in December 2010 around one AM.  I couldn’t sleep.  My mind would not find rest.  Within ten months my younger sister had been diagnosed with stage four bone cancer, my mom had an open heart surgery and my dad past away unexpectedly.

Fallen And Lost

Lost Without You

Fallen And Lost.  That's how I feel when you're not here.

I have never understood why people pretend not to care whether they are in love or not. There is a innate need in each of us which makes that statement a blunt lie.

Sunrise In The East

Sunrise In The East

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”  God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there is anyone who understands, who seeks after God.

The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. ... I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with my eye on you, I will give counsel.

I wrote this story of a beautiful sunrise, one early morning while vacationing in Romania. It's important the way you start the day. Having a positive mindset and a short conversation with God can make all the difference.

I love waking up on Romanian soil. It’s not

It's shocking to watch dad slip away but this is not the time to wallow in the tragedy of the moment and of what's to come. Looking death in the face, even if it's not you facing it, does something to you.

Momories of  A Father's Love

I found that recalling memories of my father's love, has proven to be healing. It's been said that time heals all wounds.  I guess it remains to be seen in time.
