In my workplace

I have this unsettling feeling

A flitting discomfort

In a dreary setting

 

The papers rustled

 

Now that I Am Forty and Uppy


When I was nine I used to wonder

When will the school year ends?

Grade school seems to go on forever

Having enough with the familiar faces

And the antics of friends, classmates and dour teachers

 

The doldrums in high school had become tolerable

It’s a Beautiful Day

It’s a Beautiful Day

 

I was not certain of what stirred me from my deep stupor.  Still dark outside but the morn is coming fast.  The increasing cacophony of noises seemed to be coming from all directions.  For a moment I tried to find out where I could be, my orientation having been confused from sleeping not in one place.

 

The temperature of the room seemed to be rising for every nanosecond that passes.  And the warmth
