One of the most common questions we (the Success Coaches) get asked, is to help members (clients) understand their income here. So here is my overview, which should give you a clearer understanding.

A typical question may be like this -
"How can I understand my 'earnings' on FanBox - are they like a salary?" The following is intended to cover that fully - but if you have further questions, please ask your SC or leave me a query in the comments section below.
Answer:-
"I will happily clarify that for you - may I start by ensuring you are clear on the basic differences between employment and using a web site to generate some income. This will take a few minutes to read, but should ensure you have a solid understanding of the various potential incomes you can earn here, their costs and their various short and longer term benefits.
We should not view the earnings here as 'salary' as that is correctly used only when people are employed to undertake a job, though used carefully this site can certainly give you a great extra source of income.
Here on FanBox we are all trying to earn a little extra income by blogging, trading and investing - we are in effect all making a small business.
Blogs are the easiest to understand in some ways, as there is no cost to write and publish a blog, but there can be costs to promote it with ads - even though we make a small margin of profit on ads. What we earn from blogging is pure profit, so even $6.00 would be actual profit to keep.
If we use the trading facilities, we usually have costs - the wholesale price of goods, or the cost to make them, etc, - and the cost of ads again.

I've been asked to write about the best ways to create and fund ads, a topic that is often misunderstood by new members - which may limit their earning potential.
Below is an example ad, which I will use to illustrate each point in this guide:-
Using graphics programs can give us many options to brighten up our blog posts other than drawings, etc. I am going to show you some more examples in this post - some that work well for your blogs, and some that you should avoid trying.

This will be the first in a series of posts to illustrate how to make some striking graphics to add an extra dimension to your blog posts, starting with some ideas on the Headings you can make without too much time and effort.
To make really unique headings for your FanBox blogs, it is well worth taking some time to experiment with any graphics programs that you have and see what your creative juices can come up with.
Titles like that above can be made in several programs, so I won't attempt to give a definitive list here! Whichever program you have, the basic approach is to start with a simple line of text and select a nice chunky font for it, with a size about 36pt to 48 pt.
Next, convert the text into an editable shape and give it a transparent fill with a black outline of 1pt so that it looks something like this:-

Adult content and certain language are not permitted in premium blog posts.
Why? In order to fulfill our objective of helping you earn money, we have to abide by mobile carrier regulations.
In order to publish this post, please remove all offensive language and adult references, by modifying any yellow highlighted text. We apologize if our automated system flagged something it really shouldn’t have.
