Unconditional Happiness Tip

– People Want Feelings –

People want feelings, and they already have them.

People think they desire things and experiences, but what they actually want is the feelings those things will get them.

HAPPINESS IN WEALTH

Wealth if, probably, the element mostly associated, if not synonymous, with happiness as many people think. This understanding so deep rooted in the hearts of so many, to the extent that almost everywhere people are engrossed in the acquisition of wealth. They look towards wealth as the primal constituent of happiness to the point that for them the two are entwined.

What is Unconditional Happiness?

We live in a society that propagates the myth of “I’ll be happy when…”. I’ll be happy when I get the car, the house, the partner, when they change. This is a lie, and more and more people are discovering that fact.

Quietude – Recipe for Happiness

Happiness cannot find you amidst a lot of noise — it finds you when you’re in a quiet place or circumstance. You need a place where you can get of achieving happiness, someplace where you can appreciate how safe you feel, where you can see how satiated you are, and where it’s not so difficult to achieve some perspective. You have to get off the proverbial treadmill of daily life, stop running with the bulls (the ones that wear suits and ties, not the four-legged kind!), and give it a rest.

Eight Steps Toward a More Satisfying Life

Want to lift your level of happiness? Here are some practical suggestions from University of California psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky, based on research findings by her and others. Satisfaction (at least a temporary boost) guaranteed.

1. Count your blessings.

One way to do this is with a “gratitude journal” in which you write down three to five things for which you are currently thankful—from the mundane (your peonies are in bloom) to the magnificent (a child’s first steps). Do this once a week, say, on Sunday night. Keep it fresh by varying your entries as much as possible.

2. Practice acts of kindness.
