Time, where has it gone?
I look back over the years of my life... all the things that have happened... I look at how far I need to go, but I choose to focus on how far I have come.
When I was little sure there were a few things I wanted to be when I grew up, but what I wanted to be the most was a wife and a mother.
I always said that if I could have my ideal life that I would be a stay at home mom so I could be close to my children and then also be able to donate time to charities. FanBox has made that possible for me. Once again I can't help but point out how Thankful I am to them.
15 years ago, I would have never imagined that I would be where I am today. 15 years ago I started my first job, I worked at a nursing home serving the food, I have so many wonderful memories from working there.
Of course I would babysit on the side because of my love for children I preferred this.
White in a House of Color...
I have to start with what was I thinking!! I have 4 children in my house. My 3 kids 7, 3 (almost 4) and 2, and my cousin's daughter who is 3 (almost 4) currently living with me.
I would love to say that my children are always sparkling clean and never make a mess hahahahha that honestly makes me laugh just saying it. Anyone that has children knows this is simply not true for any child. I love the saying "Please forgive the mess, my children are busy making memories."
That's it, I'm going to Bubble Wrap My Son!
All the mothers out there that have little boys I am sure will understand where I am coming from.... and the mothers that have little boys and don't understand, I'm sorry but you will very soon.
I want to start by saying I have the coolest little boy ever but he has given me more gray hairs then my two girls together. He is seriously all over the place. Always falling and getting hurt. Doing something...
First he is very susceptible to croup. He is 3 but still tends to get it so that is one hospital trip a year, and it seriously scares the tar out of me every time. Croup is something that their airways swell from all the coughing, so they then have issues breathing. Its the scariest thing ever...
When he was a little over a year he fell and cut his nose (not deep) on a little birdhouse handle. The scar is still there :-( There was another time he cut his finger and had to go to the hospital to get the bleeding to stop.. The list goes on and on. These things happen when you least expect them, you believe your house is safe.... then it happens.
This last time is the time it really scared me. We were outside the kids were playing on their swing set having a blast. The next day was supposed to beThe things we do for our children!
So my dad said he would buy my children a swing-set :-) He gave me a price range so I started looking and found the perfect one.

What Baby Fever!
I can't believe I am saying this right now but man I have baby fever!! It's one of those moments where part of me secretly hopes I am every month where as the other part of me is screeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaming are you crazy?
I sit back and watch how big my children are getting. We said that when my son went to school we would think about another one. Just in case you are wondering another child would equal 4 in my house. I have always wanted two boys and two girls... I have my two girls just waiting on my other little guy.
My son will start preschool this year. I can't believe he is so big already... I do not know where time went... just yesterday I was seeing the first smiles, hearing the first words and watching the first steps... now he is a monkey he climbs everything and talks a mile a minute.
