Would you like a sketch of yourself, a friend or family member?  I know someone who can sketch from a photo.  All you have to do is attach a picture of yourself (or whatever you would like sketched, maybe even your pet!)  The price is $20.00 U.S.  All you have to do is send an email with the attached photo and you will received the sketch within a week (depending on how busy the artist is).  Here are a few samples of the sketches.... (it would make a great gift!)

Here is a man with a gift and patience!  This man takes wood chips, soaks them in water for many days. He uses a tree from Russia (Red Cedar).Then he starts building his pieces which takes him about 6 months, 10 hours a day to finish it. He was offered a lot of money for 1 piece but won't sell one.

....IS THIS a story of a child prodigy or a joke at the expense of the art world? In the curious case of Aelita Andre, it could be both of those things - or neither.

In October, Mark Jamieson the director of Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne's Fitzroy, was asked by a Russian-born photographer whose work he represented to consider the work of another artist.

Nikka Kalashnikova showed Jamieson some abstract paintings by an artist named Aelita Andre; Jamieson liked what he saw and agreed to include it in a group show, alongside work by Kalashnikova and Julia Palenov at his gallery later this month.

There is always someone stopping here to visit, pray, or meditate. Trucks, buses, or single vehicles. Groom is a tiny town on I-40, but gets lots of visitors because of this.
